Replacing the gas line under the roadway You can get an idea how much the roadway will be lowered. They'll put only 4" - 10" of stuff on top of the dirt bed. # Posted by kelly on Sunday, July 6, 2008 - Comments [0]
The Road They stopped just before our driveway. These are about a month old, we've got gravel now. # Posted by kelly on Sunday, July 6, 2008 - Comments [0]
Kelly, Trina, Diana, Tzn-shan & Ruchi doing the D.Q.! Diana came back to visit from the Great White North, so we took her to I.V.'s, & Dairy Queen where we had ice cream, sat on the curb, and a fat ugly guy in a black Benz honked & winked at us. The evening was gloriously topped off with the viewing of a 108 car freight train. # Posted by kelly on Sunday, July 6, 2008 - Comments [0]

unfortunately... ...we got there before the carpenter, plumber, carpet layer... who were all supposed to be done when we arrived on Friday. Didn't see anyone else working until 10:30 a.m. Tuesday when the carpenter showed up. # Posted by kelly on Wednesday, March 26, 2008 - Comments [0]

We are so fortuitous in our misfortune Discovered THIS basement leak late last night after the Saluki victory over Oklahoma Cowboys in the NIT. It's leaking into the old, unused shower in the basement where the drain has been capped off. 'cept for about 5-8 gallons, everything was contained by the shower. Couple other "moist" spots were also found. Nutin' like an ole house and over 7.5 inches of rain in the last 36 hours. # Posted by kelly on Wednesday, March 19, 2008 - Comments [0]

More Ice! More Firewood! No damage, it just looks that way in the pict. We camped out in the basement last night. Slept on the mat in front of the fireplace under two comforters. Had to add wood 2 the fire twice and Trina fixed it again when she got up about 7 a.m. Basement stayed about 62 and the main floor about 57. Fortunately, Co-Op had "yuppie firewood bundles" we could buy because we've not laid-in a supply of emergency fire wood since we just moved in. I sure hope this is the last of this "ice-shit". # Posted by kelly on Wednesday, March 5, 2008 - Comments [0]
